My name is Lexie Frensley, and I am an educator, new to Portland, Oregon. I live here with my husband, Jonny (we just got married in December, which means I’m allowed to keep my bridal portrait as my profile photo for now!), and my cat, Kevin. My husband is in his first year of law school, and I am in my sixth year of teaching.

I love reading, beauty products, cultivating personal style, taking long walks downtown, intersectional feminism + social justice politics, cooking + baking, going to the movies, bougie cocktails, and spending time with my nephews and nieces.

This is a personal blog.
The opinions expressed here represent my own and not those of my employer.

Additionally, my thoughts and opinions change from time to time.  This site is intended to provide a semi-permanent point in time snapshot and manifestation of the various feelings, opinions, and frustrations running around my brain, and as such any thoughts and opinions expressed within out-of-date posts may be not the same, nor even similar, to those I may hold today. Examples of things I have drastically changed my mind on through the years: the existence of God, charter schools, and dark chocolate.
I hope you understand.
